FAQ

Q. What does Drop Veil mean?

A. A drop Veil is a veil that is characterized by its lack of gathers. On many veils, the comb is positioned so that the veil includes a blusher. The veil can also be worn with the blusher part pulled back, giving the veil a layered effect

Q. How do I care for my veil?

A. Do not iron your veil. Every veil comes with a veil clip for you to hang the veil by. It is suggested to lightly steam your veil. This can be done with a steamer, or by hanging your veil in a bathroom and running a hot shower.

Q. What style veil should I get?

A. Short answer- what ever veil you want! However, if you are concerned about your veil pairing well with the style of dress you have, here is a simple guide:

Ball Gowns- A cathedral or chapel length veil adds drama and elegance!

Sheath or Slip dresses: A minimalist veil compliments this design. Chapel, Fingertip or birdcage veil would be great.

Lace or heavily embellished dresses: Going simpler with your veil will allow your dress to really shine! You can have a veil with no embellishments, or choose a veil with simple details would be a great fit.
**Pro TIp- If you get your dress altered, you can ask your seamstress for the dress scraps- Sometimes it is enough to add to your veil to make it match!

Q. What if my dress color is not your standard whites/ivory? What should I do then?

A. How fun! Instead of trying to match the veil color exactly, aim for a harmonious tone. For example, an ivory veil will go beautifully with a champagne colored dress.

Q. What does Made to Order mean?

A. Made to order means that the veil is not created until you have ordered it! Each veil is made by hand. This is why it is a 6-8 week process from when you place your order to when it ships out.

Q. Can I send you an heirloom dress to turn into a veil and other accessories?

A. Yes! I am able to take your heirloom dress and create beautiful items with it. This includes, but not limited to, Veils, robes, purses, bouquet wraps and memorial angels.

This is a different process and takes a lot of collaboration. Please fill out the "contact" form and specify that you have an heirloom piece you want to use.
